​The TESDA Skills Programs, spearheaded by Mr. Cedric Calalang, are designed to provide accessible, high-quality technical and vocational education and training (TVET) that empowers Filipinos to become job-ready, entrepreneurial, and globally competitive. With his strong commitment to inclusive development, Mr. Calalang has championed skills training pathways that address local and international workforce demands. Under his leadership, programs have been aligned with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) standards, ensuring learners receive nationally recognized certifications that open opportunities for employment and livelihood. 

​These skills programs cover a wide range of industries—including technology, hospitality, healthcare, construction, and entrepreneurship—allowing participants to gain hands-on training and practical experience. Mr. Calalang has also emphasized building partnerships with private institutions, local government units, and community organizations, creating sustainable support systems for trainees. His vision is to equip individuals with technical expertise and instill confidence, resilience, and adaptability so that graduates can thrive in today’s evolving economy. Through this initiative, TESDA Skills continues to uplift lives, reduce unemployment, and foster inclusive growth across communities.

F&B Services NC II

The Food and Beverage Services NC II course trains individuals in core hospitality skills for roles like waiter or food attendant, covering preparing dining areas, welcoming guests, taking orders, promoting products, serving food/drinks, handling room service, and resolving guest issues, all aligned with industry standards for hotels, restaurants, and resorts. The ~356-hour program includes basic (communication, OHS) and common (hygiene, customer service) competencies alongside these core functions, leading to a national certificate for entry-level positions. 

Bookkeeping NC II

This course qualification is an entry-level course under the Philippines' Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) that equips individuals with foundational skills to record and manage basic financial transactions

Front Office Services NC II

This is a Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) qualification in the Philippines that trains individuals for entry-level roles in hotel front desks, focusing on core competencies like making reservations, checking guests in/out, operating reservation systems, and providing effective customer service, covering basic, common, and specialized skills for guest reception, concierge, and porter services in commercial accommodations.

Visual Graphic Design NC II

It provides foundational skills in visual design principles, digital tools, and industry standards for creating graphics for various media like logos, print (brochures, posters), user interfaces (UI), user experiences (UX), and packaging, leading to NC III certification and careers in digital and print design, requiring basic computer skills and aptitude for design. 

Content Creation NC III

This course equips individuals with skills to develop and produce engaging multimedia content for social media and digital platforms, covering concept development, trend research, scripting, pre-production, production, and post-production, focusing on practical application for marketing, branding, and audience engagement, combining online learning with potential face-to-face sessions for hands-on skills. 

Virtual Assistant Services NC II

This course trains individuals to become globally competitive VAs, covering core freelance skills like project/email/content management, scheduling, and business management, preparing them to serve foreign clients with competencies in basic, common, and core skills needed for remote administrative support in areas like customer service and online tools. 

Dress Making NC II

This course provides skills to draft, cut, sew, and finish ladies' casual apparel (dresses, blouses, skirts, trousers, shorts) using industry standards, covering basic tools, measurements, safety (OHS), pattern making, machine operation, and quality finishing for garment production. It's an introductory program that builds fundamental competencies in sewing and garment construction, leading to the National Certificate Level II

Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II

This course trains individuals to install and maintain electrical wiring, lighting, and systems (up to 600V) in residential and commercial buildings, covering roughing-in, wiring, protective devices, and safety, leading to a TESDA National Certificate for various electrical jobs

Bartending NC II

This course trains individuals for bar and beverage service roles, focusing on core skills like cleaning bar areas, operating the bar, preparing cocktails/non-alcoholic drinks, and basic wine service, plus essential workplace practices like hygiene and customer service, preparing graduates for careers in hotels, restaurants, and other food service establishments by developing practical mixology and service competencies.
